L & N had a specific vision for their wedding: they wanted to experience an authentic Italian celebration that would resonate with the Groom's Sicilian heritage. The couple and their guests traveled from the US to our favourite Tuscan town of Pienza.
The welcome party included wood-fired pizzas and lots of Aperol, followed by a sunset drive in a classic car. It was the perfect start to a wedding that would reflect this couple's personality and style through and through.
L & N’s wedding focused on local food and florals, fun entertainment and attention to detail - this special celebration had heart and soul in bucketloads.
Nestled in the picturesque Tuscan hills, Borgo Sant'Ambrogio served as the ideal canvas for L & N's unforgettable celebration. The venue's timeless beauty is showcased in its stunning architecture and breathtaking views, seamlessly blending simple elegance with the natural charm of Tuscany.
During the wedding morning the couple exchanged love notes and enjoyed soaking in the Italian sun.
The ceremony was conducted in the late afternoon, in front of the panoramic view of the iconic rolling hills.
Floral arrangements were thoughtfully tailored to complement the venue's aesthetic, incorporating locally-sourced foliage to harmonise with the outdoor surroundings. To infuse a touch of romance and soften the event spaces, we introduced fabric textures into the design plan.
The aperitivo boasted a spread of regional delicacies - guests enjoyed freshly carved ham, creamy artisanal cheeses and lots of truffle! The string quartet in the background created the perfect atmosphere for this part of the day. As an Italian wedding planner, curating such authentic moments that define the Tuscan wedding is what we love to do.
L & N aimed for a family-focused, intimate dinner setting. We kept the colors understated to match the warm courtyard's tones. Simple string lights and textured florals adorned the tables, and personalised menus in the groom's father's handwriting added a personal touch. To continue our use of fabric we created textured table runners to add interest and to create cohesion throughout.
A highlight were the hand-painted tambourines for each guest, creating a unique and memorable vibe - a sound we won’t forget!
The Bride wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown, that was accessorised with a stunning ribbon-edged custom veil.
After being treated to a gorgeous golden hour, of course, the guests partied in style!
