Venue Spotlight - Kin House

BRAND NEW WEDDING AND PARTY VENUE IN WILTSHIRE

A recently restored Georgian manor house in The Cotswold’s is about to take the wedding venue scene by storm. Grade II listed with interiors designed by the infamous Barrow & Barrow there is not much you can’t love about Kin House.

Located in beautiful Kington Langley, north Wiltshire, Kin House is within easy reach of London by train, and only 25 minutes by car from Bristol. Surrounded by 10 acres of gardens and private woodland there is so much flexibility when planning a wedding here.

I visited Kin House ahead of it’s grand opening in July 2022, alongside one of my couple’s who have chosen this unique venue for their wedding celebration. Around every corner is an interior lovers dream with well-considered event spaces that make for exciting wedding design planning.

Kin House boasts 12 gorgeous bedrooms on site (sleeping 24 guests) with an incredibly beautiful bridal dressing room and barbers to match.

Alongside the bedrooms you’ll find lounges, bars and dining spaces throughout, each impeccably designed by interior design studio Barlow & Barlow. A very special house to entertain your guests in, from welcome feasts to late night bar chats Kin House has it all for a completely bespoke and personal celebration.

The Hearth Room is one of my favourite spaces at the very heart of Kin House, with it’s soft pink, exposed walls and welcoming atmosphere - perfect for a rehearsal dinner the night before your wedding. This space is also licensed for Civil Ceremonies for those with a slightly smaller guestlist.

The main event space can seat up to 200 people; complete with one of the most impressive bars I have ever seen and a stage for live music. Purpose built and fit for purpose there is so much that can be explored in these spaces when it comes to wedding planning and design as well as great light for your all important wedding photos!

The outdoor spaces further compliment Kin House’s incredible interiors with courtyards for drinks receptions, walled gardens and an arbour for outdoor ceremonies. There is also an option of outdoor feasting in private woodland, plus glamping and tent set-ups within the estate grounds to further add to the fun.

At this exclusive private estate you can expect a luxury hotel-experience complete with personal service around the clock. It is not open to the general public so settle in and enjoy having the manor house to yourself for a day, weekend, or more.

With a wedding booked at Kin House for 2023 we are already considering it for upcoming brand events, private parties and some of our new couples.
